Yaposhka becomes YAPIKO

Friends, we have made a difficult decision to change our name!

The first logo of our company depicted a Japanese baby, whom we called Yaposhka. When the company became famous, some people started to pay attention to the fact that the name Yaposhka might sound offensive to the Japanese. We did not take this into account when creating the name.

There is a wonderful Japanese proverb - 論より証拠, which can be translated as "It is better to prove by deeds than by talk". We adore Japanese cuisine, love Japan and respect the people of this country, which is why we decided to give our baby a new name. Japishka becomes YAPIKO!

This is an important step for our entire team, and we are happy to cook for you with even more passion, now with a new name!
